Birds, Birds, Birds

Friday was a very enjoyable day. In the morning my granny and I went off to Fisherman's Beach in Mornington to take some photos. It was a lovely day, sunny and not windy. The sea was still, there weren't many waves, so it was just right to take photos. There were lots of birds and it was my goal to get a picture of a bird flying, so I started chasing them to get them to fly.

Birds were not the only interesting things to see. There were fish carcasses, rocks and seaweed in the shallow water.

We spent about an hour there and then went of to the Op Shops to by clothes. It really was a lovely morning

Roses of Mornington

 On Thursday we visited the Mornington Botanical Rose Garden on Tyabb Road.

There was a great variety of
roses in full bloom.

As soon as we stepped out of the car we could smell the beautiful perfume.

Walking around - so relaxing

The atmosphere is indescribable: you really need to be there to understand  what I mean.

I have many favourites but I think the orange roses are the ones I like the most.
